Canaan Avalon Nano 3 can’t connect to WiFi after restart

If the Canaan Avalon Nano 3 unexpectedly loses the WiFi connection after a restart, the device is not defective. It is, of course, a small bug in the firmware that prevents the Nano 3 from connecting to the WiFi after a restart.

The problem is mainly with special characters, especially special characters such as the “#” in the WLAN password. It is therefore recommended to change the password or to use a new WiFi without “#” in the password for the Avalon Nano 3 Solo Miner.

The device cannot be reset because there is no reset button?

You are also wrong, the “Change” button under the on/off button must be pressed for about 10 seconds. The miner will then restart and can be reached via a direct connection via WLAN (nano heater) at IP 192.168.168.168.

Have fun with Bitcoin Solo Mining!
