Lucky Miner LV07 Fan and Cooler Upgrade – finally silent
I bought a Lucky Miner LV07 some time ago to do some Bitcoin solo mining and also to carry out some tests.
I immediately noticed the volume of the miner and my conclusion was that the miner cannot be used in the office.
I therefore decided to make some changes to the Lucky Miner LV07 in terms of cooling. Unfortunately, there are no other suitable passive heat sinks made of copper, as the screw spacing is very special.
I replaced the fan itself with a new one from Noctua and also dissipated the waste heat a little better with a copper heatpipe. I also added more copper heat sinks to increase the maximum heat absorption, improve the airflow and also transfer the heat to the aluminum housing cover.
All in all, the Miner is now pleasantly quiet and cool.

Noctua 40×20 mm (12 volt!) fan
Copper heatpipe (can be easily bent)
