Daimler / Mercedes-Benz Aftersales Portal EVA PROD DRD no longer works

Currently the EVA aftersales software from Daimler seems to have problems at startup. This problem is caused by a faulty “login file” (evadrd.jnlp). The problem can be fixed relatively easily by using an old file, but then the login token or “session cookie” must be replaced

To do this, the new evadrd.jnlp file must be opened with a text editor (e.g. notepad) and the complete line which starts with

SessionCookie=EVA_JSESSIONID=

must be copied.

After that the old evadrd.jnlp file has to be opened and the corresponding line has to be replaced. After clicking Save the old file now has the current login data and the software can be started.
