Plesk Juggernaut Firewall does not start: Shell_Firewall error Error: csf is being restarted, try again in a moment

If you get the error “Shell_Firewall error Error: csf is being restarted, try again in a moment: Resource temporarily unavailable at /usr/sbin/csf line 185.” with your Juggernaut firewall over a longer period of time, then your CSF firewall service has probably crashed and cannot be started due to a set lock.

It is recommended to delete the .lock file (not /usr/sbin/csf !) and restart the service manually:

service csf restart

By the way, you can check the current status with

service csf status

to check the current status.

If the process takes an unusually long time I recommend to stop the service

service csf stop

and flush all iptables rules or restart the server.
